Aspiringnurse.com is offering a $1000 scholarship to undergraduate nurse students seeking financial aid for tuition, books and education related costs!
Who is eligible to apply for this scholarship?
Any future undergraduate student who is currently currently enrolled or has been accepted into a United States accredited nursing program.
Essay Question:
- What, do you feel, is the largest problem the field of nursing faces today (education or job related), and how would you fix it?
Scholarship Application Deadlines
Submission Opens July 1, 2012
Submission Closes July 1, 2013
Supporting Documents Required of Potential Winners:
- one copy of Official High School or College Transcripts
- proof of enrollment or acceptance into accredited nursing program
- Copy of Unites States Driver’s License or Government Issued ID
- Headshot photograph in high-resolution, digitally as a JPEG or TIFF file (to be shown on the winners page).

When does the submission process begin and end?
Essays may be submitted between 12:00am Mountain Stardard Time on July 1, 2012 and 12:00am Mountain Standard Time on July 1, 2013. The scholarship recipients will be notified by email or phone during the month of August, 2013.
Who is eligible to apply?
Any future undergraduate student who is currently attending a college or university and is either enrolled or accepted into an accredited nursing program. You must be attending a United States college or university.
What are the essays judged on?
Essays will be judged on creativity, specificity, as well as basic grammar. Judges will look for writing that is not only articulate, but clear and logically organized.
How is my personal information used?
A minimum amount of personal information is needed to verify your submission and provide Aspiringnurse.com with a means of contact should you become a recipient of this scholarship. Your personal information is used specifically for our internal records only and will not be shared with any third-parties.
What scholarship awards are available? How do I redeem a scholarship?
The winner will receive a $1000 college scholarship that will be paid directly to the scholarship recipient’s college or university.
